Valley Line West Light Rail Transit Project Reaches Financial Close
The City of Edmonton and Marigold Infrastructure Partners reached financial close on the Valley Line West Light Rail Transit project on December 23, 2020.
The project is being delivered through a design, build and finance P3 procurement model. The $2.6-billion Valley Line West project is the second phase of the Valley Line, a 27-kilometre low-floor LRT line that will operate between Mill Woods in southeast Edmonton and Lewis Farms in west Edmonton. The first phase of the project, Valley Line Southeast, is currently under construction.
Marigold Infrastructure Partners is a consortium consisting of Colas, Parsons, Standard General, Francl Architecture Inc., Fast + EPP and Stantec.
