Provided litigation advice to Integrated Grain Processors Co-operative Inc., an Ontario co-operative with more than 840 members, and its newly incorporated wholly-owned subsidiary IGPC Ethanol Inc., regarding an action in connection with the financing necessary to design, develop, build and operate a 150 million litre ethanol production facility in Aylmer, Ontario.

Represented two public companies in an oppression remedy action brought against them by an individual for $50 million in damages and declaratory and mandatory orders under the Business Corporations Act in connection with the acquisition of the shares of a public company [Clearly Canadian Corporation ats. Ralph Moyal].

Represented a public company in an action brought against it by a corporation for $20 million in damages for slander of title and for an interim and permanent injunction to restrain power of sale proceedings in connection with the default of a loan for the purchase of commercial real estate [Rno-Dpt Inc. ats. 1427814 Ontario Limited].
