Lorway passionately advocates for his clients' interests, providing sound, proactive advice while assisting clients in navigating commercial realities and market requirements. Lorway is a member of the firm's Corporate/Commercial and Energy Groups. He practises corporate/commercial and energy law with a focus on corporate transactions, financings and commercial drafting for clients across a number of industries, including energy, finance, technology, manufacturing, human resources and wireless communications. Lorway acts for emerging and mid-sized privately-owned companies, as well as larger public companies. He has also advised investors, producers, distributors and regulators within the oil and gas and green energy sectors, including provincial electricity markets.
Lorway's expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, asset and share purchase transactions, corporate governance, software licensing, professional services agreements, privacy, security and day-to-day operations and corporate matters. He has also acted for domestic and international banks, venture capital/private equity funds and other institutional investors and lenders.
