In the fields of biotechnology and life sciences, Lola’s specialist areas include molecular and cell biology, cancer therapeutics, genomics and proteomics, biochemistry, genetics, pharmacogenomics, vaccines and therapeutic antibodies, bioprocessing and biofuels, nutraceuticals, functional foods and biologics.
Life sciences include agricultural technologies such as genetically-engineered plant species, plant breeders’ rights protection, animal breeding technologies and novel and improved feeds for livestock and pets.
Pharmaceuticals includes drugs and biosimilars and pharma-related issues such as patent testing, patent enforcement and patent extension.
Environmental technologies include clean technology innovation such as bioplastics, biofuels, ethanol production technologies, clean water technologies, energy generation and storage, natural pesticides, next-generation wind technologies and solar energy.
