Lisa has built her practice on providing practical, business-based advice, carefully considering all possibilities and helping clients to understand the risks of certain courses of action. With a predominantly corporate and commercial transactional practice, Lisa works collaboratively with clients and counterparties to facilitate mutually beneficial outcomes. Through effective communication and outstanding client service, Lisa provides her clients with peace of mind knowing someone is in their corner, committed to working in their interests.

Lisa is the Co-Practice Group Leader of the firm's Corporate/Commercial Group and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity and Energy Groups. She practises general corporate/commercial law across a wide range of sectors and businesses. She is experienced in asset and share purchase transactions, shareholder agreements and shareholder meetings, and debt financings as well as providing advice on the Investment Canada Act, Competition Act, and advertising law matters. 

Lisa also sits on a number of profit and non-profit boards, in both a professional and volunteer capacity, including the National Geographic Channel and Milton Minor Hockey Association.

She has been with the firm since 1996 when she first joined as a summer student. Lisa values the exchange of ideas between her and her colleagues as well as the sense of humour and collegiality of her team.
