Drawing on her environmental science background, Lauren provides practical legal solutions to complex environmental and Indigenous legal issues. She brings strong advocacy and communication skills to her practice and stays on top of emerging legal trends to ensure her clients maintain a competitive edge.

Lauren is a member of the firm’s Environmental, Indigenous Practice and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Groups. She has extensive experience providing strategic advice to clients about environmental compliance, including contaminated land issues and regulatory approvals for air, water and waste. Lauren works with businesses across various industries, providing strategic advice to help clients meet regulatory requirements at federal, provincial and municipal levels. She also helps clients assess and manage environmental risks, including conducting due diligence for transactions. A strong litigator and negotiator, Lauren represents clients in administrative and environmental civil proceedings, as well as regulatory prosecutions.

Lauren supports Indigenous communities on a range of matters including environmental assessments, resource benefit agreement negotiations and the duty to consult and accommodate.
