Josh is a creative thinker who provides practical advice on a
variety of corporate transactions. He has a strong work ethic and is committed
to delivering successful outcomes on every deal. Josh also excels at the
interpersonal side of his work, collaborating with clients to navigate complex
transactions.
Josh is a member of the firm’s Capital Markets Group. His
practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private placements within
securities law. Josh represents companies ranging from small startups to large corporations
across various sectors.
Josh joined Aird & Berlis as an associate after summering
and articling at the firm.
Representative Matters
Represented multiple produce companies in connection with a hybrid sale of shares and assets for more than $100 million.
Represented a Canadian retail company in connection with the sale of shares to an investment management firm.
Represented a U.S.-based, U.S. private equity-backed global engineered equipment and automation solutions provider to the food processing, packaging and material handling sectors in its acquisition of a leading manufacturer of protein processing solutions headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada.
Represented Digital Commerce Payments Inc. in its sale of the exclusive right to use new e-commerce shelf capability software to Venzee Technologies Inc.
Represented Northern Green Canada Inc., a vertically integrated Canadian licensed cannabis producer, in its sale to Curaleaf Holdings, Inc.
