He specializes in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings and commercial litigation under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act. He represents various clients, including banks, creditors and court-appointed officers. Cristian’s work in the areas of insolvency and restructuring involves a range of proceedings, including security enforcement and restructuring litigation.

Representative Matters

Counsel to KSV as the proposal trustee following 125 Ferris Inc.’s filing of an NOI under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.

Represented Northern Green Canada Inc., a vertically integrated Canadian licensed cannabis producer, in its sale to Curaleaf Holdings, Inc.

Successfully represented RBC in ensuring a receiver was appointed to manage the assets of Trans Emerge Transport Inc. in a $10.7-million debt case.
