Anna is an advocate specializing in municipal and land use planning law. With a comprehensive understanding of regulatory intricacies, she provides strategic counsel that achieves favourable resolutions for her public and private sector clients, including landowners, developers and municipalities.
Anna is a member of the firm’s Municipal & Land Use Planning Group. She advises clients on a wide range of municipal and land use planning strategies and issues, including property tax appeals and expropriations. Anna’s previous experience as a real estate litigation associate has given her significant expertise in commercial lease disputes, certificates of pending litigation, construction disputes and title issues, as well as acquisitions and dispositions, which equips her to better assist clients within the municipal and land use spaces.
Anna has represented clients at the Ontario Land Tribunal, the Assessment Review Board, the Ontario Superior Court, the Divisional Court and the Landlord and Tenant Board, and in arbitration matters proceeding under the Arbitration Act, 1991.
