Anisha is a critical thinker and strategic advocate. She advises on complex litigation matters, navigating all avenues to resolve disputes. Clients appreciate her compassionate communication, collaborative approach and thorough understanding of their business objectives.
Anisha is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. Her commercial litigation practice includes assisting clients with contractual disputes, commercial arbitrations, shareholder disputes, professional liability, oppression remedies, economic torts, injunctions and appeals. Anisha also has presented to various clients with respect to class action proceedings. She represents individuals and businesses across a number of industries, such as real estate, commercial leasing, construction, employment, expropriation and municipal. Anisha has appeared before all levels of Ontario courts and various administrative tribunals.

Representative Matters
Obtained a Certificate of Pending Litigation in an action involving the breach of an oral agreement: George v. Mathew, 2024 ONSC 745.
Represented a fintech company and several of its directors on a Rule 21 motion to strike claims for breach of contract, negligent misrepresentation, conversion, breach of the Competition Act and intentional infliction of mental harm in Ramirez v. Ledn Inc. 2023 ONSC 3716.
Obtained default judgment in favour of a leading property management company in a commercial leasing dispute in 175 Bloor Street East Inc. v. Dakin West Inc., 2023 ONSC 5155.
Obtained a certificate of pending litigation in an action involving breach of a letter agreement: Halbouni v. El-Turk, 2022 ONSC 6234.
Represented a municipality on an application for the transfer of land from the Crown to the municipality under the Forfeited Corporate Property Act, 2015 S.O. 2015 c. 38.
Obtained an order recognizing and enforcing a judgment of the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan in Ontario under the Reciprocal Enforcement of Judgments Act, RSO 1990, c R.5.
