Aird & Berlis Named Excellence Awardee for 2024 Canadian Law Awards

Aird & Berlis is proud to be named as an Excellence Awardee for the 2024 Canadian Law Awards in the Mid-Market Deal of the Year and Diversity Initiative of the Year categories.

Linamar Corporation's US$64-million acquisition of a substantial portion of Mobex Fourth and 1, LLC’s U.S.-based assets is shortlisted in the Mid-Market Deal of the Year category. The acquisition of the Mobex assets bolstered Linamar’s position as a leading supplier of propulsion-agnostic solutions. Aird & Berlis proudly represented Linamar in the transaction.

Our Black Voices (In)Justice: Supporting Black Youth Representation in the Legal Profession initiative is shortlisted for the Bereskin & Parr Diversity Initiative of the Year. This award celebrates the steps taken by law firms and law departments to promote diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. Through our ongoing efforts, Aird & Berlis endeavours to empower and create change through education, resources, activities and community partnerships that recognize and celebrate diversity and inclusion.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony taking place in Toronto on Thursday, May 9.
