Douglas has extensive experience in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of international and domestic project and structured financings and has acted as lead counsel on many major Canadian and international P3 and project finance transactions. Douglas advises governments, equity sponsors, funders and subcontractors on a wide variety of civil, transportation and accommodation P3 projects, including roads, hospitals, waste and waste water facilities, schools and universities, mass transit and social housing. 

Ron is a member of the firm's Energy and Infrastructure Groups. He has been retained in connection with power procurement arrangements, development of generation and cogeneration facilities and the Ontario government's clean energy supply and renewable energy supply RFPs and contracts.  Having advised numerous clients through the historical and institutional development of the energy market in Ontario, Ron brings extensive experience and perspective to guiding his energy clients through both the immediate and anticipated steps of a transaction.

John is a member of the Municipal & Land Use Planning and Infrastructure Groups. He practises in the areas of local government and municipal law, development, land use and planning law, and building and construction regulation. John provides advice, counsel and representation to both private and public sector clients on all matters relating to municipal law as well as land use planning and development matters, including development charges, building regulatory matters and various contractual arrangements.

Bernie is a member of the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Infrastructure Groups. He practises commercial and construction litigation, with a focus on construction and infrastructure disputes, securities litigation, shareholders' rights disputes, and errors and omissions defence. For more than 35 years in practice, Bernie has appeared before numerous professional tribunals and all levels of the court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Bernie is an experienced litigator, mediator and arbitrator with an excellent track-record of resolution. 

Heidi is a partner and a member of the firm's Infrastructure and Corporate/Commercial Groups. She has extensive experience in all aspects of P3 projects, including commercial arrangements and financing requirements for complex projects, tender documentation, concession agreements, design-build agreements, operation and maintenance agreements and financing documents. Heidi has advised governments, equity sponsors, lenders and subcontractors on a wide variety of civil, transportation and accommodation P3 projects in Canada and internationally, including roads, mass transit, hospitals, schools and universities, waste water facilities, courthouses and prisons.
