Join us for an engaging discussion with Lorin MacDonald, a human rights lawyer supporting people with disabilities. Lorin is an accessibility subject matter expert and the founder of HearVue, a social enterprise advancing communication inclusion via captions and subtitles. Lorenzo Lisi, Partner and Leader of the Aird & Berlis Workplace Law Group, and Dasha Peregoudova, Workplace Law Group Associate, will join the conversation and share their expertise on best practices for employers when creating inclusive environments for people with disabilities. Participants will learn about the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), Accessible Canada Act (ACA) and Ontario's Human Rights Code, and will gain insight into legislation across the country through a province-by-province overview.
