Join our esteemed panellists for a dynamic program which will provide registrants with first-hand stories of the lived experience of navigating the world as a person with a disability, alongside leading information related to supports, such as accessibility coalitions, advocacy work, rehabilitation processes and compliance with accessibility regulations.

Our webinar aims to centre the human experience of disability within complex systems such as healthcare, home and facilities design and law.

We are grateful to have representatives of West Park Health Foundation and members of their network speak about working with patients who have overcome health challenges and regained physical and emotional independence as people with new disabilities re-entering a world predominantly designed for the non-disabled.

In addition, learn about the Urban Land Institute’s Accelerating Accessibility Coalition, a first-of-its-kind coalition comprised of real estate development and accessibility leaders with a shared vision of creating a more accessible Canada through accessible housing and facility development.

Legal regulatory information will also be provided, including details of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
