There’s really no one right answer for this – there is no stereotypical “Aird & Berlis LLP Type.” Generally, we are looking for well-rounded students with strong academics who also have some interesting work, volunteer or extracurricular experience. We want to hire students who have proven that they can balance their work and play, because this is what you are going to have to do as a student, associate and, eventually partner at Aird & Berlis LLP. Don’t worry if you don’t have any legal experience – that’s what the summer and articling programs are for. We’re looking for experience that shows that you can take responsibility, deliver results and be a part of a team – both as a leader and as a team member. We are looking for students who we can see as our future colleagues for years to come.
